The use of our patented external carbon dioxide condensing system eliminates the need to modify the storage tank, such as by installing a coil inside the tank. It also eliminates the need to install an external heat exchanger above the maximum liquid level in the storage tank, which is particularly important in the case of vertical storage tanks.
Our solution makes the CO₂ condensing unit a compact, self-contained system that can be installed virtually anywhere in the vicinity of the CO₂ storage tank. All heat exchangers are integrated into the compact unit.
Connecting the CO₂ condensing system requires only two connection ports on the storage tank: one for gaseous carbon dioxide and one for liquid carbon dioxide. These are connected to the corresponding ports on the condensing unit.
